We are looking for an inventive Biomedical Engineer to join our team, in order to develop pioneering biomedical technology. Your responsibilities will include working closely with professionals such as life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists to research the engineering aspects of biological systems. Your expertise in both engineering and biology will enable you to develop technological solutions to complex medical problems.
To be successful as a Biomedical Engineer you must be able to develop advanced healthcare technology and be able to advise others on how to use the technology effectively.
Responsibilities

- Advice and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical environments.
- Conduct research, along with life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists, on the engineering aspects of the biological systems of humans and animals.
- Design and develop medical diagnostic and clinical instrumentation, equipment, and procedures, utilizing the principles of engineering and bio-behavioral sciences.
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Research new materials to be used for products such as implanted artificial organs.
- Adapt or design computer hardware or software for medical science uses.
- Advise hospital administrators on the planning, acquisition, and use of medical equipment.
- Analyze new medical procedures in order to forecast likely outcomes.
